Terms of Service (TOS)

Welcome to Basket Score (https://basketscore.it). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, which allows users to create and manage virtual overlay scoreboards for live streaming of basketball games. By registering or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Basket Score provides a digital tool that enables sports clubs or individual users to create scoreboards, manage team rosters, and upload graphic elements (e.g., logos) to be displayed as overlays during live game broadcasts. Users do not have visibility into the accounts of other members, and there are no social interaction or public commenting features on the platform.

2. Registration and Account Management

To use the service, the user must create an account by providing First Name, Last Name, Email Address, and the Club Name (which will be used for the scoreboards).

• The user guarantees that the information provided is accurate and truthful.
• The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities that occur under their account.
• The provided email address will be used for transactional communications, support, and updates regarding subscription status.

3. User-Generated Content (Media Gallery and Rosters)

Through Basket Score, the user can enter player names and upload images (such as team logos), which will be saved in their private "Media Gallery."

• Ownership and Responsibility: The user declares they possess the necessary rights, licenses, or authorizations to use the names, trademarks, and logos uploaded. Basket Score disclaims any responsibility for any copyright or trademark violations caused by materials uploaded by the user.
• License of Use: By uploading content, the user grants Basket Score a limited, non-exclusive license solely for the purpose of storing, processing, and displaying such content within the virtual scoreboards created by the user.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Basket Score offers different ways to use the service:

• Free Account (Trial): Every new user is entitled to create an account for free without the obligation to enter a payment method. This plan includes a trial period that allows the management of up to three (3) games.
• Basket Score Premium: The user can choose at any time to upgrade to the Premium plan, which offers full access at a cost of €7.99 per month, with automatic renewal.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by our third-party partner, Stripe. Basket Score does not store or directly process full credit card data. Accepted payment methods include: PayPal, Credit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay, and Link.

5. Renewals, Cancellation, and Failed Payments

• Automatic Renewal and Cancellation: The Premium subscription renews automatically every month. The user can cancel the subscription at any time, completely free of charge and without any penalty, maintaining access to Premium services until the end of the current billing period. To avoid being charged for the following month, the cancellation must be made at least 1 day before the scheduled renewal date. Following cancellation, the user can reactivate the subscription at any time.
• Failed Payment: In the event that the charge for a renewal of an already started monthly period is unsuccessful, Basket Score will contact the user via email to invite them to settle the balance manually. Prolonged non-payment may result in the suspension of Premium features.

6. Limitation of Liability and Service Interruptions

Basket Score is committed to keeping the platform operational and accessible at all times, particularly during live events. We do not guarantee the absence of errors, bugs, or temporary service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure. Basket Score shall not be held liable for any damages, loss of earnings, or service failures resulting from the inability to use the scoreboards during a live stream.
The user is encouraged to promptly report errors for the fastest possible resolution.
